God speaking today

To so many Christians God only speaks today through his written word but I cry not so! In the book of revelation it clearly says, ‘He that has an ear, let him hear what the Holy Spirit is saying.’ Now, is saying, is a clear indication that he has not just spoken but is speaking. But the great key is clearly, ‘ He that has an ear.’

We must develop our ability to hear God! Firstly we need a to know the written word of God to understand the way God speaks. Then we need to develop a relationship with the speaker, the Holy Spirit himself, so that we become keen to his voice and promptings. Get around the prophetic and prophetic people; as the old saying goes, ‘It rubs off!’

Once we have determined the voice of the Lord, the reaction is everything. Heb 3 VS 7 clearly states, ‘ Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart.’ Our response I believe opens the door to be acquainted with the ongoing instructions of the Lord.

What a privilege! What an experience! God speaking to me….

Prophetic Word

You have heard the voice of my servant Samson say I will do as I have always done before. I will go out and shake myself. But this time he couldn’t do it because the Spirit of God had left him. The Lord says you will not say I will do what I have always done before because what you have done before has not produced what I wanted to do. But what you will say is Lord I will seek You in a new way. Lord I will seek You in a new way until the new wine is poured out. If you say I will do what I have always done before, you will miss what I am going to do. But if you say I will seek You in a new way, My Spirit will draw you into a new encounter. I will draw you into a place where we can have a face to face. And you will see the things that I see and you will hear the things that I say, and you will carry the anointing that I want you to have. But do not say I will do what I have always done before for if that is the decision that you have made, then I will bypass you. But if you will say I will seek you Lord and I will follow You today the Lord says I will draw you. So to this day make the decision before Me. What will you do?

New wine conference

In Napa valley there is a famous wine train that takes you on a tour of the wine country. We might not have a train but we do have a moment of the new wine!

Time to get on board! the conference starts Thursday night and I would not miss a moment. What delights of the Spirit will be poured out?

This event will coincide the 20 years anniversary and the birthing that we were prophetically promised earlier this year.

Join us; and in the song that used to be sung years ago, ‘cry fill my cup Lord!’

Twenty years

Twenty years ago today, July 1st we began the this church…. Twenty years, wow, so much has transpired.

Memories, good and bad and indifferent… But we like Samuel need to raise our, “Ebenezer’ and say how much has the Lord helped us. He has kept us and touched us. We have weathered storms and seen moves of God. We have seen provision and blessing and most of all learned huge lessons of reliance.

Thank you Lord for your keeping power!!!!!

Enough I cry of looking back! What of the future, what will we see. It is time like Abraham of old, ‘to lift up our eyes from where we are and look again.’ What new horizons, new tests and new beginnings are coming?

Time to look, time to move on and time for a new beginning…..

Full measure

The revelation that is given us in Romans 8 vs 29, is that we are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus. Well if that is so, surely we should be seeking the full measure of the Holy Spirit? It is recorded in John 3 vs 34, that Jesus had the spirit without measure, well to represent him and to reflect him, we need to ask him for a greater measure of His Spirit to minister like He did. It is part of the promise given in Jn 1 vs 12, ‘ authority to become the sons of God.’ Wow that opens it up! Romans 8 vs 17 says, ” if children, then heirs of God and co heirs with Christ.” We have a right to share it what Jesus gained!

I think the early church had it, also through the ages other saints did. IT IS OUR TURN NOW. Lets claim our inheritance…. Then the world would again say, ” Christians!”

Full rights of sons

Wow; the visit of Darrin Begley was great. He highlighted in another flavor what we have been teaching about sons.

There is I believe, a revelation yet to be seen by the body of Christ on sonship that is revolutionary for this present generation. Most people of course capture the adoption principle but so few understand that we are adopted to receive the full rights of sons as in Galations Chapter 4. The word there to receive , in the original language has a sense of , that it is been cast off by Jesus, so that whoever sees what is offered reaches in and takes hold of it for themselves. In other words Jesus who has the full right of a son, does not keep it to himself but kind of throws it out there for us to see and partake of.

Once again, a great big wow! We should be praying for revelation of what is being offered and then as we see it, reach out and take it in to our lives. The potential is enormous! The opportunities immense! Remember the whole of creation is waiting for the sons of God to be revealed.

How we should pray? Simple, once again the Ephesian prayer of Paul in Ephesians Chapter 1 VS 17-19. ” A spirit of wisdom and revelation and the eyes of our understanding being opened” Everything in God comes by way of revelation. This is a life changer, people changer and generation changer.

Looking for the revealed sons of God…..

Carriers of His presence

Sometimes it is good to go back and remember why we are here…. When we come into Christ the Bible clearly states that we are then called to be a ‘Royal Priesthood.’ That means we minister to the Lord and minister for the Lord.

The priesthood of the Old Testament were also given the privilege of carrying the ark of His presence on their shoulders. Wow what a call. We in the New Testament are called to do the same but not so much on our shoulders but in our lives. Interesting is it not, that the Holy Spirit first sat on them on the day of Pentecost, before he filled them.. But wow! did they carry the presence… We can do the same!

Lets cry out for a fresh infilling to be the carriers of the presence and anointing of our God. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom and liberty. Lets be the carriers of the life of God…
